PSA (Power Supply Analog) are used to power 1–4 LED light sources (simple version of a constant voltage source). PSD (Power Supply Digital) have a digital control input for 1–2 light sources. Intensity control via PC or camera is possible. Standard product for many applications, constant voltage source.
The PSA series power supplies are the simplest option for controlling FALCON lighting. The PSA is connected to the 230V mains on the rear side via a Schuko plug. Depending on the model, up to 4 outputs with adjustable intensity using the FALCON-standard JST connector are available on the front side. The regulation is implemented via 120 kHz pulse width modulation, ensuring flicker-free camera images.

The PSD series power supply is an extension of the PSA series. In addition to intensity control via 120 kHz pulse width modulation, the PSD series provides an RS232 interface to communicate with other devices, enabling software control. The PSD series can also process trigger signals to synchronize lighting with a camera or even use it as a strobe unit to flash lighting in sync with the camera. Ideal for use in testing laboratories.
